Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox

Led by pianist-arranger Scott Bradlee, Postmodern Jukebox reimagines contemporary hits as if they had been written in the swing era. This American collective transforms pop, hip-hop and R&B into standards in the styles of jazz, doo-wop, 1960s soul or bossa, featuring a supple groove, horns and a rotating gallery of guest vocalists. On stage, vintage costumes and a club-like atmosphere create the impression of a living jukebox where each cover takes on a different color.

On May 9, 2026, at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès in Strasbourg, the group will present a show structured like a revue: medleys, solos, vocal numbers, occasional tap-dance routines, and a setlist that changes with the tours. The idea is to give a retro sheen to familiar songs through Scott Bradlee’s arrangements and the musicians’ ease. It’s an event for those curious about reworked pop and for fans of vintage sonorities, presented in a live format designed for the stage.
