Pablo Mira returns with a new one-man show under a fitting provisional title: Pablo Mira Is Still Looking for the Title of His Show. He lands on March 4, 2027 at the Pasino Partouche Grande Motte, in La Grande Motte, with a stand-up in which he settles scores with the things that annoy him in daily life. He scrutinizes those little things that make you lose it — even the therapy sessions that cost an arm and a leg — and unspools the thread with his eye for detail and a deliberately disingenuous streak.

He then broadens his aim to the major trends of the moment, the ones he admits he doesn’t always grasp, despite a brain that churns like a high-IQ mind. Between tests of his self-control and his own idiosyncratic readings, he exposes what, in other people and in the spirit of the times, wears him down a little.

On a more intimate note, Pablo also shines the spotlight on himself and his neuroses: how he sabotages himself, how he ruins entire days over trifles, and what that says about our overfull, overly connected lives. In the end, it’s a no-frills portrait of a French comedian who observes, gets annoyed, confesses, and turns his obsessions into material for laughs for one evening in La Grande Motte.
