Terrenoire

On March 27, 2026, Terrenoire takes over Château Rouge Annemasse. Brothers Théo and Raphaël continue a path begun six years ago: a songwriting approach that tackles music head-on—sensitive and taut. With protégé.e, their new album, the duo maps out a chiaroscuro territory where attentiveness to the other remains central. Discovered by Les Forces Contraires, their debut album that earned them Revelation of the Year at the 2022 Victoires de la Musique, they bear the name of the working-class district of Saint-Étienne where they grew up, and a collective spirit that permeates their songs.

Their sound blends electronic and organic textures, machines and strings in dialogue. The lyrics, direct yet sprinkled with clues, unfold intimate narratives connected to the world. Different genres intertwine, with soaring chords and recurring refrains that settle in. Terrenoire combines the intimate and the collective, true to their Saint-Étienne roots, in a French pop that lets song and electronics converse.
