D'Jal « En Pleine Conscience »

D’jal returns to the stage on December 12, 2026 at the Arènes de Grand Paris Sud Évry-Courcouronnes. A comedian at ease with the art of character work, he moves between stand-up and performance, stringing together portraits, accents and scenes drawn from everyday life. You’ll find his gallery of familiar figures — from the overly curious neighbour to the bewildered traveller, through family meals that derail and street misunderstandings. His writing blends personal anecdotes, cultural contrasts and a keen sense of observation to turn a simple situation into a moment of living theatre. Without unnecessary effects, he plays with rhythm, physicality, abrupt shifts and improvisation, while keeping the audience at the heart of the experience. This new show presents original stories, honed characters and a healthy dose of self-deprecating humour.
