The Narrator

On October 16, 2026, at La Maroquinerie in Paris, The Narrator will showcase a metalcore forged in the Ruhr. Formed in 2017, the band built its identity on taut compositions and a genuine sense of live performance, supported by tours that gradually established them on the German scene. In September 2024 they released Lore, their debut ten‑track album, which has already surpassed ten million streams, featuring a direct, tight sound designed as much for the stage as for headphones.

Shortly after, The Narrator issued “Unbind Me,” a single mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound—known for his work on records by Bring Me the Horizon, Green Day and Korn—and accompanied by a video directed by Daniel Prieß. The band has refined its approach: abrasive guitars, tight, precise rhythms and vocals alternating between clean singing and distortion, all in service of a compact, melodic metalcore. At La Maroquinerie, the set will focus largely on Lore and the recent material, offering an opportunity to witness firsthand the evolution of this German band.
