Elena Nagapetyan

Elena Nagapetyan turns her life into stage material, with no detours. Born in Uzbekistan and raised in Russia, she arrived in France at 22. On her record: leaving home at 13, a Tinder match that became a marriage, a child, a divorce, postpartum depression, and a succession of jobs. From all of this she draws a first‑person narrative, halfway between stand‑up and a logbook, written in French, her adopted language.

On stage she speaks about identity, exile and motherhood, the choices we own and the ones we learn to carry. Everyday life is examined in detail: mornings in the park with her son, sometimes after a night that was too short, decisions made for herself, and the persistent urge to live freely. With a direct tone, blunt humour and clear language, she tells it without frills or affectation, in a way that goes straight to the point.
