Superbus returns with OK KO, their seventh album, and a tour that mixes new material with standout tracks. Twenty years on from their debut, celebrated in 2022, the band led by Jennifer Ayache continues to carve out a line between pop and rock, with instantly catchy choruses and well-placed, driving guitars. For the occasion, the group revisits its classics with updated versions, including “Lola” featuring Hoshi and Nicola Sirkis, and “Butterfly” reimagined with Rori. Formed in the early 2000s, Superbus established a recognisable sound, driven by melodic energy and arrangements that flirt with electro-pop as much as with more direct rock.
