Solann, a French singer-songwriter of Armenian origin, first came to notice with "Rome," a manifesto single that opened the way to a dreamlike world nourished by ancient myths and the luminosity of the Renaissance. Triple-nominated at the 2025 Victoires de la Musique and hailed as a breakthrough in the female category, she moves forward with precise songwriting, a clear voice and a sense of narrative that never overstates. On stage, her former career as an actress informs a controlled presence, attentive to detail, where every gesture serves the text. Electro rhythms, gospel choirs and washes of synths form an expansive playground, suited both to intimate confidences and to collective surges. Solann likes to blur the lines between softness and tension, depicting violence without jolt, in search of calm rather than spectacle.
