André Manoukian

André Manoukian, pianist, composer and arranger, has long built a bridge between jazz, chanson and melodies from elsewhere. He has been seen alongside Richard Galliano, Michel Petrucciani and Charles Aznavour, and the wider public came to know him as a member of the Nouvelle Star jury. At the piano he unfolds a clear musical language, nourished by blue-tinged harmonies, Eastern hues and a precise sense of melody, where improvisation always remains in command.
