Info

Kim Wilde made her breakthrough in 1981 with "Kids in America" and has since built a solid discography: more than 30 million records sold, 15 albums and songs that defined the 1980s, from "Chequered Love" to "Cambodia", up to "You Keep Me Hangin’ On", which reached number one in the United States. Voted Best British Female at the BPI Awards in 1983, she accompanied Michael Jackson on the Bad Tour in Europe and shared the bill with David Bowie on his Greatest Hits tour in 1990. The 1990s saw her continue with Love Moves and Love Is, propelled by "Love Is Holy" and her cover of the Bee Gees' "If I Can’t Have You", taken from The Singles Collection 1981–1993. After a pause to focus on family life, she returned to the stage in 2001, signed with EMI in Germany and released Never Say Never in 2006, which relaunched an extensive tour. This was followed by Pop Don’t Stop – The Greatest Hits in 2021 and the single "Shine On", a duet with Boy George, then dates across Europe and the United States, before the acoustic Wilde Winter. With the album Closer announced for January 2025, Kim Wilde will be at Le Liberté in Rennes on 19 April 2026, as part of a new tour.
