Info

On 21 April 2026, Kim Wilde is at L’Olympia in Paris for a concert that retraces a pop trajectory begun in 1981 with "Kids in America." Since that breakthrough, the British singer has sold more than 30 million records and released 15 albums, with standout tracks such as "Chequered Love," "Cambodia" and "You Keep Me Hangin’ On," which reached number one in the United States. Voted Best British Female at the BPI Awards in 1983, she also joined Michael Jackson on his Bad tour in Europe and shared the bill with David Bowie in 1990. The 1990s saw her follow up with Love Moves and Love Is, singles like "Love Is Holy" and the cover "If I Can’t Have You," taken from The Singles Collection 1981–1993. After a family hiatus, she returned to the stage in 2001, released Never Say Never in 2006 on EMI Germany and played more than 50 dates in 2007. In 2021, Pop Don’t Stop – The Greatest Hits included "Shine On," a duet with Boy George that was the UK’s best‑selling vinyl. Tours followed in 2022 and 2023, an acoustic interlude with Wilde Winter, and then Closer was announced for January 2025: Kim Wilde is now setting her sights on 2026. We head to L’Olympia in Paris to see her.
