Ashe

Born in San Jose, California and based in Nashville in her early days, Ashe, whose real name is Ashlyn Rae Willson, develops a singer-songwriter writing in a pop register that blends indie pop, alternative pop and touches of indie folk. Trained at the Berklee College of Music, she began her career in the mid-2010s lending her voice to producers in the electronic and pop scene such as Ben Phipps, Whethan, Louis the Child or Shaun Frank, while co-writing “You Don’t Do It for Me Anymore” for Demi Lovato in 2017. After the first singles “Used to It” and “Girl Who Cried Wolf,” Ashe released the EP The Rabbit Hole in 2018, followed by the two parts of Moral of the Story in 2019. The track “Moral of the Story,” relaunched in 2020 by its inclusion in the film To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, marks a turning point and establishes a more intimate format, centered on piano, melodic refrains and a direct autobiographical narrative. Ashe then released the albums Ashlyn in 2021, Rae in 2022 and Willson in 2024, where her writing moves between pop ballads, 1970s folk-pop and more contemporary production. She has also performed on stage alongside Lauv, Quinn XCII, Kelsea Ballerini or Gracie Abrams. In 2025, Ashe teams up with Finneas to form the duo The Favors, which releases the album The Dream in the same year.
