Old Dominion
Født i Nashville omkring musikere oprindeligt fra Virginia samler Old Dominion Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Whit Sellers, Geoff Sprung og Brad Tursi i et countryprojekt med pop- og rocktoner. Før de hengav sig fuldt ud til Old Dominion, skrev medlemmerne for Nashvilles scene og fik placeret sange hos flere mainstream countryartister, hvilket formede en skriveform med fokus på melodiske omkvæd og scener fra hverdagslivet. Gruppen blev opdaget med en første EP i 2014, fik airplay på amerikanske countryradiostationer og drog derefter på turné i USA og Canada. Albummerne Meat and Candy (2015), Happy Endings (2017), Old Dominion (2019), Time, Tequila & Therapy (2021) og Memory Lane (2023) etablerer et kendetegn præget af lyse guitarer, midtempo-groove og moderne produktion; Old Dominion veksler mellem lette numre, sentimentale fortællinger og mere introspektive ballader.
